Karen A. Benvenuto
In the early 1980s while on vacation from the advertising business in NY, Karen became involved in the successful conversion and sale of a 92 unit Beachcomber co-op in Montauk. Her next endeavor included selling and overseeing the construction of over 100 homes with a recognized Hamptons builder, amassing to her knowledge of construction, zoning and use.
By 1988 Karen joined her husband as a managing broker for their family owned real estate firm. Together with her family, Karen built a multi-use commercial building in the Springs of East Hampton. For the next ten years she owned and operated a gourmet market, alongside a branch office of her real estate company. Following the sale of these businesses she has returned to her true passion as a full time real estate broker. Christopher J. Burnside
Christopher Burnside has been an associate broker in the Bridgehampton office of Brown Harris Stevens and its predecessor firm since 1999. Every year since 2000, he has been the Bridgehampton office’s top producer in both sales and rentals. He specializes in the sale of new construction, land and investment properties in Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, Water Mill and Shelter Island.
A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Christopher attended the University of Arizona and obtained a degree in Finance and Business Management. He moved to the Hamptons after graduation and began his successful career in real estate development. At Windemere Development Corp., Christopher worked as Project and Sales Manager for a 275 unit single family housing development where he was in charge of all sales aspects for the new buyers, including mortgage applications and material selections.
Amelia Doggwiler has been a licensed real estate salesperson since 1997. She joined Brown Harris Stevens in 2005 and has established herself as an expert in waterfront properties in the Hamptons. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Amelia has an extensive international background. She lived in Venezuela for 3 years. Her previous occupations include Financing/Loan officer in Lima, Peru; Trading Officer at the Commercial Office of Peru in New York; and working with the Director of Personnel at UNICEF in the United Nations Personnel Division. Since 1995 she has owned/managed a construction company that built numerous spec houses through the Hamptons.
Amelia is proud of the community in which she lives and works. She has participated in numerous charity events. She lived in Sag Harbor for 15 years where she raised her two children Jaan and Tanya Doggwiler and currently lives in Bridgehampton.
